I don’t want to be an expert in what other people are doing or have done. I admire people who do, because it’s often interesting and worthwhile. A lot of my friends have an amazing knack for knowing where to find interesting or beautiful things. I’m not so great at it, I find that being bombarded with information overwhelms me, and I kind of curl up and ignore stuff unless I’m given a very good reason not to, like someone I love or admire telling me it’s awesome. I don’t “copy” my friends. I’m not culturally void, I just dip in and out of my chosen corners of philosophy, art, music or whatever. I learn new thing, I talk to people, I try new thing most days and I appreciate the world around me, from the sky to the sounds. If I didn’t I’d spend all my time looking for things I give a shit about and coming up blank. I’d rather my focus center on whatever I’m creating, being a better person, learning new skills and being happy. I don’t feel bad about that, and it doesn’t make me feel stupid.

If you hear some women say they hate men and then apply that to the entirety of feminism then you’re an idiot. That’s what happens when you make dumb girls from your school or mind warped celebrities your reference of feminism rather than feminist scholars or equal rights activists, or hell any man or woman with half a brain that is passionate about equality. You know, ACTUAL feminists. Men are feminists too. One man or woman does not speak for all, does one misogynist speak for all men? No. Lets be reasonable about feminism then.
